Kaimaktsalan ski resort
The Voras Ski Center or Kaimaktsalan, as it is known, is located on Mount Voras, the third highest mountain in Greece and its slopes are developed at an altitude of 2,050 to 2,524 meters. Mount Boras is a pole of attraction for countless nature lovers, climbers, as well as for thousands of skiers, who visit the state-of-the-art facilities of the Boras Ski Center while the national team and most ski schools start their training there. The ski center is 39 kilometers from Edessa, 140 kilometers from Thessaloniki and 570 kilometers from Athens.
